JAPAN UPDATE
We are waiting for the result of a funding bid next week so fingers crossed! This will determine the exact content of the trip which we are finalising now, we have several plans depending on how much money there is! We have budgeted for worst case to best case scenario.
It was great that we received support from the Daiwa Foundation, sadly it was HALF the money we asked for which is why the flights and dates had to change. With times as they are, other organisations have supported us with little bits and pieces, less than we had hoped for but we are still grateful.
And of course myself and Scott and other FYT leaders are working really hard trying to bring in lots more money - we all work voluntarily as you know and are currently selling DVDs of shows, organising meetings and social nights etc, I am working for Lindsey School for free at the moment to ensure our productions can be staged there free of charge! And we are also setting up a new Thursday night group there which will bring some more money in to FYT.
PLEASE PLEASE keep fundraising, we encourage this because the more fundraising people do, the less we have to ask from you personally, please ask if you want us to help you organise an event or activity to raise money :-)
Please keep YOUR fundraising stories coming in as we know you have all been working just as hard to raise the money to make this trip a success!
Anyway, the hotel and flights are booked and we now have a rough outline of the trip! Hurrah!

BAG PACKING!
Choose your till and get packing bags! Oganised by Aly and Beth Rouse, this event raied £400 last time, if we get MORE people taking part we could raise double that amount at least!
YOU CAN HELP BY - Coming along and packing bags, bringing friends and family along to do a shift as well! The more people involved, the more breaks everyone gets too! :-)
